My most vivid memory as a child is while I was at Girl Scout camp, floating on my back with my partner in the lake and a snake curled up on her belly.  We had to swim to the dock in the middle of the lake while we waited for the counselors to locate the terrified snake. Swimming back to shore was nerve wracking since they never caught that snake!

What is your favorite saying or quotation about children, learning, or teaching?
